A week into blogging

Yay, I did it! Didn't miss a day and now I'll never ever do this again.

When I started the blog last saturday, I thought about trying to write a post every single day during the first week. Why? I'm not really sure. Maybe to prove to myself that I could do something with consistency for once, maybe to make sure that people landing on the blog had some stuff to read besides the post they clicked on. Put some stuff out there in general and see if I liked blogging.

Well, I do. I also really liked Bearblog as a platform, looks very clean and it's standing for an internet I can support. I've been thinking of moving my computer game reviews over here as well, since writing them on Steam is weird and bound to the store. Actually, I have a lot of computer game stuff I want to write about, but I kept my first week posts about ttrpgs since it was the awesome ttrpg blogging community that made want to start my own little blog. Seriously, there's just so much good stuff on ttrpg blogs, it's unreal1.

I don't think the whole week thing was a terrible idea, but writing everyday is a bit tough and while I considered keeping this up for another week (writing is very fun), I am making the executive decision to, well, not. Let's just leave my next post for whenever I feel like it, since I didn't review stuff for the His Majesty The Worm game I'm playing today and I also haven't played Digimon Time Stranger in, coincidentally, a week.

  1. Just recently Josh has been doing his lovely Middle Earth hexmap, Clayton wrote some stuff that has been constantly on my mind about genre mashups in ttrpgs and Valeria put together this awesome piece about Live Text Roleplay.
