D10 non-countering spells
I was playing that very fun mtg counterspell guessing game and thought that a lot of counterspells aren't really counterspells if you take their names literally. So I decided to write down some fun things for these spells to actually do. I'll leave the names of the spells hidden if you want to try to guess the mtg spell they're based on.

| 1 | Disrupting Shoal | A shoal of shrimps sprouts violently from your hands, making a lot of noise and obscuring vision. And the ground. And the hmmm olfactory landscape. |
| 2 | Void Shatter | A 1m3 space in front of you breaks, leaving weird glass like shards around it and making adjacent objects and creatures unstable. |
| 3 | Disdainful Stroke | The tip of your wand/staff oozes enough blue paint for a single splatter. Anyone marked by it becomes immensely unreputable until cleansed. |
| 4 | Force of Will | Establish, out loud, a truth about the world. It becomes true for you and the people around you when you say it. Reality returns to normal when someone who doesn't know it was true to you let's you know things actually aren't really like that. |
| 5 | Mystic Confluence | within d6 minutes, the nearest source of water flows towards you. The force and speed of the waterstream obviously depends on the distance it travelled over time. |
| 6 | Miscalculation | The next time one of an object of a known quantity would become visible to you, its quantity is randomized. For example, if someone would draw their sword from their sheath, it now has d6 blades instead.1 |
| 7 | Disallow | As you cast this spell, name a one word action. Everyone that can hear and understand you (including yourself) cannot execute said action for d6 hours. |
| 8 | Counterspell | Name a type of creature/species/thing. The amount of these in a 10m sphere around you is now known. |
| 9 | Voidslime | Splurge a vantablack2 puddle of slime that engulfs and erases from all realities the first d4 things it touches. If you were using a wand, it's the first thing. If you weren't, you're gone. |
| 10 | Cryptic Command | Creates a magical blue pitcher that vanishes in d6 hours. Whenever someone within 3m of the pitcher issues an order or command, it's made unintelligible. Pouring the pitcher in someone's ear allows them to hear it clearly. |
This was really fun actually, I might do more in the future. I'll think I'll edit the table css later on too, this feels a little cramped.
